The Studio
My Design Studio was established in 2002 by Yasmine Goodwin. Opening a 1,500 square foot decor centre with two builder clients, Goodwin had the building blocks of what would soon become one of the leading decor centres in Canada. Through several years of innovation and consistent growth, My Design Studio is proud to have expanded into an 8,000 square foot Centre and limitless digital space.
Whether in-person or online, our experienced in-house design team provides real estate developers and builders with innovative solutions to streamline and manage decor sales. We help our clients select each product, price out their projects, help your homeowners make their selections, meet the construction timeline, assist with the purchase orders process and carefully study all the analytics involved.
We want to ensure we are providing the best experience possible, whether that’s through our physical decor centre or our expanding digital presence. Our digital hemisphere allows us to move beyond the physical barriers of our studio space, and help more contractors, builders and clients than ever before.

Further expansion to provide even better service
We were faced with the decision to stay at our 1,500 sq ft location or move into a larger space. After reviewing options, it became apparent to us that it would be better to invest in a larger space
Renovation and conversion
Began the renovation of converting 3 separate units into our new 8,000 sq ft Decor Centre in Woodbridge, Ontario. We more than quintupled our original studio space to accommodate our growth
New Showroom Opens
Welcomed our first homebuyers into our new showroom
Online expansion
Searched for an online solution to compliment our business. We couldn’t find the right solution in the market that was also affordable for our builders, so we decided to build the best online experience for My Design Studio ourselves. It was imperative for us so we could offer the My Design Studio experience through software technology to builders that couldn’t use our services in the past due to geographic restrictions
